Bihorenii nu au motiv de bucurie. Deşi au susţinut cu probe impresionante cauza şi au militat pentru ca în fotbal să primeze criteriul sportiv, FC Bihor a fost anunţată că rămâne în Liga 2, la fel ca şi celelalte două colege de suferinţă: Poli Timişoara şi Gloria Bistriţa. Aşa cum au promis, arbitri judecători de la Tribunalul de Arbitraj Sportiv de la Lausanne au decis până luni, la orele amiezii: FC Bihor, Poli Timişoara şi Gloria rămân în Liga 2 pentru că nu au îndeplinit condiţiile de licenţiere.

The four appeals have been dismissed and the challenged decisions taken by the competent authorities in Romania and by UEFA have been confirmed in their entirety.
The Romanian clubs filed their appeals on 14 and 22 June 2001 and all parties agreed to have the arbitrations handled in an expedited manner; the appeals were referred to the same Panel of CAS arbitrators and a procedural timetable was established with the agreement of the parties which allowed the exchange of written submissions to be completed by 11 July 2011, with hearings held at the CAS headquarters on 13 and 14 July 2011.
As a result of their appeals being dismissed, the three clubs do not have a license to compete in the First League of the Romanian Championship for the 2011/2012 season and FC Timisoara SA does not have a license to take part in the UEFA competitions this season.
