În afară de câteva cazuri izolate, în zona mai îndepărtată a cimitirului, rudele și prietenii celor care își dorm somnul de veci la Cimitirul Municipal au putut să își comemoreze dispăruții în pace și fără stresul milogilor. Luni, 1 noiembrie, deși, ca de obicei, destinația principală a celor din Oradea a fost capătul străzii Universității, îmbulzeala fie nu a existat, fie a fost bine controlată. Nici accesul mașinilor nu a fost restricționat în zonă, singurul obstacol de trecut de către conducătorii auto fiind cel legat de găsirea unui loc de parcare. În rest, oamenii s-au ridicat la standardele pe care tot ei le-au creat an de an, împodobind frumos locurile de veci și aprinzând lumânările de rigoare. Buna desfășurare a Zilei Morților a fost supravegheată și de angajații unei firme private de pază care au patrulat pe tot perimetrul Cimitirului „Rulikowski”, stârpind din fașă eventuale inițiative de furt sau de cerșit. Menționăm, de asemenea, că și în acest an, un număr considerabil de persoane s-au oprit la mormântul – monument al lui Kazimir Rulikowski, cel al cărui nume a fost dat Cimitirului Municipal, pentru a aprinde și acolo lumânările recunoștinței. De precizat că, după un weekend în care accesul cu mașina în cimitir a fost interzis, din această dimineață (2 noiembrie) se poate din nou intra cu autoturisme pe poarta acestuia.
